American Eagle recognizes that occasionally, items may not meet expectations. As a result, the brand provides a complete refund for any product returned within 30 days from the date of purchase, or a merchandise credit if returned within 60 days. A minor $5 fee applies to online returns, but this is exempted for Real Rewards Level 3 Members and Credit Cardmembers, as well as for Aerie bras, bralettes, swimsuits, and third-party footwear. In-store purchases must be returned in person and cannot be processed through the online system. To facilitate a seamless return, American Eagle requests that all items are in an unworn, unwashed, undamaged condition, with all original labels and tags intact. For swimsuits and underwear, hygienic liners must remain in place. It's important to note that Final Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
